#29 Chosen Family Holiday Dinner

Every year, our friend Sabrina has a little fete that is affectionately called a "Chosen Family Holiday Dinner." It usually goes down something like this: amazing friends, amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing amazingness. This year was no exception.

This year it was clear that there was a child involved. Throughout the evening you could find a circle of chatterers, not standing in the kitchen sipping wine, but sitting on the floor reading Global Babies and playing with a toy car. I'm not sure what Owen will do when there is another kid involved in this annual giving of thanks and celebration of friendship; he likes all of the attention.

This is what a chosen family holiday dinner looks like:

My friend Fidelia was just looking over my shoulder and said, "hey is that Cory Edmonds!?". They knew each other well from junior high and high school. What a small (snowy) world this is.
