Today we went to Owen's physical therapy appointment for his
torticollis. I noticed that he was only sleeping with his head facing left while I was in Utah studying for the bar exam, and then noticed that he was resistant to turning his head to the right at all. At his 4 month check up the doctor diagnosed him with torticollis and recommended pediatric physical therapy.

There are only two exercises that we need to do at home, but we need to do 3 repetitions 5 times a day and he hates them, so that should be fun. Ryan will be taking him to physical therapy weekly for the next little while to monitor his progress and we'll keep you updated. Hopefully we can stretch out his little neck muscle and all will be well soon!

A little internet research recommends an increase in tummy time (tummy torture) to aid in recovery as well... maybe we'll be able to work up to 5 minutes of happiness on the tummy before long.
